Heads up: New name & look incoming for The UXR’s Annotations.
TL;DR - The UXR's Annotations newsletter is getting a new name ("Depth by Drill Bit Labs") and a fresh look. You'll still get the same great content on UX research & digital strategy, but with more insights and a broader range of topics from two experts.
I’m excited to announce that The UXR’s Annotations is evolving — In the next few days, you’ll notice a new name & updated look for this newsletter.
Context
As you may already know, I recently co-founded Drill Bit Labs, with my longtime collaborator, Lawton Pybus, who has been running the popular newsletter, The 1/4” Inch Hole. We’ve decided to combine our expertise, and newsletters, to create something even more impactful: Depth by Drill Bit Labs.
Here’s what to expect:
Same great content, with a new look — We’ll still be writing articles with insights, tips, and original research about UXR & digital strategy. There will be some cosmetic changes though (e.g., new name, refreshed branding, etc.)
A seamless transition — No need to do anything on your end. You’ll still be subscribed and get notified of new articles just the same.
Unified & comprehensive expertise — By combining our writing, you’ll get ideas from both of us, all in one place. We’ll be covering a broader range of topics in UX research and digital strategy, providing deeper and richer content.
I think this change will allow us to serve you better by providing more value, a wider range of perspectives, and even deeper dives into the critical topics shaping our field.
Expect these changes to roll out over the next week.
Thank you
It’s been a couple of years since I first published this newsletter — your support has been incredible and I’ve loved every moment. Thank you for your continued support — We can’t wait to share this new chapter with you.
